Sorry, but Coccoloba Plantation is still closed. It is the only major
resort still closed since the hurricane. There seem to be some management
problems as well (at least I heard...).

If Cocolobo is closed, it's no great loss, in my opinion. As a regular
Anguilla visitor (and one with private accomodation, I must admit),
I've always felt the resort (and the others that constantly make the
pages of the glossy travel rags and weekend supplements) to be
overpriced, overrated and definitely overhyped. When I did stay at
island resorts, it was emphatically Cinnamon Reef at Little Harbor
that impressed me. It was reasonably priced, quiet and very, very
comfortable. I used to enjoy visiting the more "upsacle" spots with
their dinky beaches and overly snobbish clientele to get a chuckle or
two. Anguilla has a lot more to offer than pseudo-Moorish havens of
platinum-card prices and overpriced pens for the portly. Gee, get away
from those silly places and you might discover the real island of
Anguilla!
