Luggage Storage at Barbados Airport

Does anyone know if there are any luggage storage facilities available
at Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados? I am flying in
and transferring to Air Mustique for a three-day visit, but do not
want to take all my stuff with me as the planes are quite small.

Hello,

Unfortunately there are no baggage storage facitilies at the Grantly Adams
Airport in Barbados. It sounds as though you will be coming back to
Barbados for a further stay here after going to where ever you are going on
Air Mustique. What I recommend is that you back accordingly, meaning one
bag for your trip on Air Mustique and the rest with you items for Barbados.
Contact the hotel, guest house, where ever you are staying in Barbados and
ask if they can store the items for you so they will be there on your
return.

For the benefit of anyone who may be interested, my hosts in Mustique
have now advised that the Air Mustique office at BGI does provide
lock-up facilities for passengers to leave luggage in.

Hello,

In general, there are no locker facilities for baggage to be left at the
Airport in Barbados (with the exception of lost baggage lockup in the
arrivals hall). The major airlines will not keep luggage for passengers,
however, I was originally going to tell you that if asked, the likely hood
would be that Mustique Airways would keep some of your baggage for you
awaiting your return to Barbados. I'm glad to know they have that facility
for their passengers.
