Charter (a boat)
Then you can do what you want about clothes.
My husband and the male crew of the boat we chartered kept a lookout
for such sightings and they are fairly common. See Jere Lull's page
on this.
There are some unofficial such beaches in the USVI, but have not heard
about them in the BVI.

Any of them on St John? Where?

Yes I think so, but I don't remember where - it's not my thing. I
know it is a NPS beach and somewhat difficult to get to.
Solomon's beach? (or is that on St. T. where there is another one)

Again on the boat do what ever you want. As a skipper "I see nothing, I

Hi There,
Soloman is on St. John......you just need to watch out for the park rangers.
On St. Thomas there is little Magen's Bay off to the end of the main
beach....but it is primarily nude males.
But as the other posters have stated....it is illegal in both of these places,
just not overly enforced.

Have heard some first hand reports that women off of cruise ships sometimes
forget their tops at Cane Garden Bay. Locals have told me that White Bay (Jost
van Dyke) was often topless, particularly when the Club Med II was in --
infrequently of late. I've also seen two women au natural on a runabout
beached in front of the Soggy Dollar at White Bay. [their drinks were fetched
by an appreciative male audience -- doubt they had to pay for any.]
But it's fairly rare and a bit of an affront to the locals who live and work
*in those areas*. I'll wear as little as I can get away with, but DO try to
respect their sensibilities. I'd expect locals to comment on a bare midriff in
Road Town before topless at Cane Garden Bay, but both would annoy them and if
someone gets too annoyed, they could get the BVI government to turn it's
official gaze upon the "problem", possibly resulting in our losing our current
naturist spots.
Lee Baxandall's "World Guide to Nude Beaches & Recreation" lists a couple of
areas as fine for skinny dipping on Tortola (that we have not investigated --
we're mostly on boats -- but they seem to be well secluded). We show a number
of anchorages on our pages in the surrounding islands where we've enjoyed the
freedom (far down in the left-hand navigation frame). (some of those can be
reached by water taxi from Tortola.) Several of the smaller islands' resorts
indicate day trips to "secluded beaches" near them (Bitter End, Peter Island
and Drake's Anchorage that I know of). Other resorts probably know nice spots,
and almost any secluded spot you find will be fine.
Asking around, respectful of locals' sensibilities and being willing to get a
negative response from *that* local, should give some good results. I'd ask
local guys before the women, for (to me) obvious reasons.
The time of the week will affect your results: Smuggler's Cove might be fine
during the week, but wouldn't be good on the weekend when the locals have
their picnics. Cane Garden Bay will be more proper when the aforementioned
cruise ships are in. [But there's a section a bit to the west when no one
would "notice" at any time.]
If you work a bit, I'm sure you can find some nice places wherever you stay.
