good last-minute travel agents in Canada??

I am trying to book a last-minute trip to either Nassau or St. Maarten and
wondered if anyone could recommend a good travel agent in the Toronto,
Canada area?

Try Flight Centre at the Eaton Centre. My son has used
them and they got him a good price on his latest flight.

If going to Nassau, I suggest the Nassau Beach Hotel.
Quite nice and much cheaper than Marriott or Atlantis.
We were there last year and enjoyed it.

Try www.sunholidays.ca or www.selloffvacations.com both have selloffs
listed (about equal price), then go to any affiliated travel agent or any
independent (Thomas Cook, Carson Wagonlit etc. are not likely to help) and
then ask them if they can match the price or , at least, come close.
Affiliated agents will give the discounted price no problem. Independents
should be able to come close or match the prices. Thomas Cook and the other
big franchises are not likely to co-operate. They get enough uneducated
travelers going for the big name and will usually keep to a profit margin. I
usually save at least 25% off the brochure price this way. Last trip was
under 50%.
