Texas Hill Country Fall Events
The Full Moon Inn
http://fullmooninn.com

October and November are jam-packed with Hill Country events
from Fredericksburg*s annual Oktoberfest to the Ladies state Champion
Chili Cookoff in Luckenbach to a variety of arts and crafts and wine
events.

Both the Oktoberfest and Chili Cookoff are scheduled Oct. 2-3
in the beautiful Texas Hill Country known for its milder days and
cooler nights than many Texas cities, all because of the elevation of
1,800 feet.

The Texas Hill Country Wine Trail and Mesquite Art Festival
are scheduled Oct. 8-9, while the Fredericksburg Food and Wine Fest is
slated for Oct. 23-24.

Art Past Dark, a big arts and antiques event and the Fall
Antique Show are scheduled Nov. 12-14 as many of the Hill Country*s
Spanish Oaks and sumacs start to turn crimson and the nights begin to get
nippy.

Then, there*s Thanksgiving, a traditional holiday event at
The Full Moon Inn Bed and Breakfast.

If you*re looking for a short Fall vacation with an exciting diversity
of activities and a chance to reconnect, so plan now to explore the Texas
Hill Country using historic Luckenbach as your base of operations.

Although Gillespie County boasts more than 350 bed and
breakfasts, The Full Moon Inn is the only one located near historic
Luckenbach, which country singer Waylon Jennings sang about in his hit,
Luckenbach, Texas.

Though the Full Moon Inn is excited to provide a special
experience for as many as seven couples at a time, its Thanksgiving Day
buffets have become legend for so many that at least four different
serving times are scheduled.

*Our Thanksgiving buffet has become an annual event,* said
Full Moon Inn owner Matt Carinhas who began the business 13 years ago.

*We serve the traditional home-cooked Thanksgiving meal with
all the fixin*s. We plan to serve at 12 noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.,
8 p.m. by reservation. We serve the meal in our restaurant which seats up
to 85. And most of our business comes from repeat customers which
we*re really proud of.*

Staying at the Full Moon Inn has a lot of advantages, says
Carinhas.

*We*re centrally located to do a lot of things in the area.
Wine tasting is five minutes away, LBJ State park and Enchanted Rock
State park are close by, fine dining is at several great
establishments nearby, the Wildseed Farm and we*re the only B&B in Luckenbach.
It*s a great place for couples or singles to come, slow down a little from
their hectic lifestyle and just reconnect.*

We run a Fall special featuring *3 nights from Sunday through
Thursday* for $300. And that
includes a full, home-cooked country breakfast each morning to help
guests start their busy days exploring the Texas Hill Country or just
hanging out on the historic B & B grounds.

The original log cabin, carefully restored to preserve the
craftsmanship of the early German settlers who immigrated to the Texas
Hill Country in the 1840s, was built in 1860.

The Full Moon Inn has six units for seven couples, has been in
business since 1993, memberships include the Historic Accommodations of
Texas, Fredericksburg Traditionals, AAA, and The Pedernales River
Valley Group.
