rec.toys.transformers.moderated will be removed
The Last Call for Comments (LCC) on 1 April 2009 initiated a five-day
period for final comments. Following this comment period, the Big-8
Management Board has decided by consensus to remove the moderated group
rec.toys.transformers.moderated.
This group will be removed on 18 April 2009.
History of the group:
rec.toys.transformers.moderated was originally created in April 1998, as
part of the rec.toys.transformers.* hierarchy.
Rationale for removal:
There has been virtually no on-topic traffic in RTTM in the last five
years. In the meantime, the unmoderated group that it was originally
meant to supplement (alt.toys.transformers) has thrived. Given that
there is no reason for the group to exist, the remaining technical
moderator suggests that it should be removed.
