It is simple/non-sexy by design so no complaints
about that please. If you have scans and would like them
to be available on this site, email me:
kl...@NOSPMkl.net
and of course remove the capital letters in the
address before sending...
I know there are a number of scans on various sites
already, but I'm not going to leech those without
an email from the webmaster. If you want
scans from other sites to be available on this site,
contact the other webmaster and have them send me
email and I would be happy to put them up.
Please see the README on the site for leagal/disclamer
and other info.

If you save the scans as jpg's zip compression won't do you much good.

Look around for info about a program called Teleport Pro or, if you
have a unix shell account, one calle wget. Both can replicate websites.
There are a lot of programs that will do that, but those are the only two
I have used.

Hint: point not thy site-slurper at AucZilla.
I got to 25MB before my ISP decided I'd been online too long (they bump
at 3 hours if there are less than 10% free lines)

Hrmmm. I never tried to do that. I just saved the html files with
the actual lots on them, mainly so I would have a local reference
to help me name my own lots.

Ick, slow transfer speed. Even at home I think I'd do 25mb in
about 40 minutes or less. Guess pulling it across the pond
slows things down a bit. :/
Absolutely. you can send zip, tar,gz,Z but no arc or arj please.

Hihi, My computer takes less than 15 minutes for 25Mb. But that's the gain
from a cable-tv-connection. I even downloaded Pause in less than an hour,
right before he went off-line. But than came Todd with his offer. Oh well,
does anyone wants to have a complete pause-magazine? Just 78 Mb....

Lego group, if you are reading, as you no doubt have copies of all of your
old instructions and idea books, why don't you get scanning and uploading!!

Wow, do people still use arc? I remember using it eons ago on my
Fidonet board. How about lha? :)

A zip file of a jpg is just as large since the jpg file is already
compressed. The only advantage, if any, is that all the scans for a single
model could be put in one zip file for a single download.

I assure you it's not my site or internet connection
that's limiting you to 600b/s! It must be the trans-atlantic
