I wouldn't mind putting a Sleestak on my shelf. No plans to see the
movie.

Captain Infinity
True. But if they made a Sleestak, that means they would also make a
Will Ferrell figure. And no one needs that.

This may very well be as close as you'll get to doing that........

Hey frogdog... great to hear from you!
I like the bank over the bobbler... ;-)
Tom
Thanks. Nice to see you all still here. I'm always passing through
here, but there just doesn't seem to be much to discuss these days,
and I'm tired of bustin' on Mattel's sorry butt.....:o)

I also thought the bank was pretty sharp. You can apparently get them
a few dollars cheaper at Amazon BTW. Frankly, talkin' about Sleestaks
is one of the most interesting topics we've had in here. Too bad it
took a bad movie to get it started.
So, I'll try to get a little dialogue going. Just what is everyone
(at least those few that are left here) collecting these days? The
DCU stuff from Mattel seems to dominate most folks collecting, though
I'm simply burned out on superhero crap. I have tried to keep my
enthusiasm for JLU going, but Mattel/Target have just about beaten it
to death. I still have a thing for model kits like the ones being
done by Moebius Models or 12" figures like the ones being produced by
Amok Time, but other than that, the fire's pretty much gone out.
So, anyone else have a latest passion? Collecting anything
off-the-wall?

I've recently purchased a full set of the Watchmen figures, a Martian
Ambassador from "Mars Attacks!", a green Fin Fang Foom Heroclix figure
(a massive 13" tall and 16" long), the Bowen Whirlwind bust, and this
baby: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150341156118

TRENDMASTERS!!! Man, I miss those guys. They had a bunch of great
lines, Mars Attacks being one of the best.
Then again I might be presumptuous and it could be some Screamin' Mars
Attacks kit you bought. And they were great as well.....

And ain't he a beaut? A really terrific version of FFF. I love mine.

And one hell of a kit it is. However, it is a bitch to get together,
sand smooth and then find a place to display it (it's about the size
of a small end table when completed). And if you have advanced
modeling skills, I strongly recommend some scratch built internal
bracing on the saucer rim.
A very interesting and ecclectic mix, Cap.
