i am a skiing enthusiast in charlottesville, lake anna being an
hour away and the james river a half hour. the former is one
of the few lakes around virginia that permit horsepower
conducive to skiing; the latter is widely held to be polluted
and thereby dangerous. a man madde leak~~ lake that is in
southwest virginia, smith mountain lake, sits on the
virginia/n. carolina border and is pretty good--big and with
many finger-like projections. fairly crowded but it is usually
easy to find something skiiable, though you waont find too many
straightaways. i'm always fired up to sky so if you want to
