Hello,
I am going to buy a new slalom ski and would appreciate help on making the
right selection. I am an intermediate skier who skis for fun and weighs 185
pounds. We live on a 1 square mile lake that sometimes gets crowded (wavy).
Our 1991 boat is 17 feet long, with a Merc 4.3 I/O. I am in OK, but not
great shape. What do you think of one of the newer wide ski's made by
Conelly (or O'Brien)? What size? How do these compare to the traditional
narrower water skis? Where is the best place to buy? Any recommendations
are welcome!
Thanks in Advance,
Ed Mooney

Buy your ski's at Performance Ski and Surf! They are very knowledgable and
VERY customer oriented. I have purchased MANY ski's from them in the past
(along with countless other equipment) and always go back.

See www.perfski.com or call (407) 859-skii.

Ed, my father-in-law just purchased a Connelly mid sx & loves it. It makes
slalom skiing a much more enjoyable experience for him. I also rode it
just to see how it felt & although you can't pull as extreme behind the
boat as you would on a standard slalom, every other aspect was very
enjoyable. I considering getting one for all the other friends I take out
that haven't slalom skiid before.

Good Luck
Bill.
