Hawaii remained unbeaten tonight but lost the first game on the road
this season. The Bows won games 1&2 15-9 as they appeared on cruise
control. The cruise control collapsed in game 3 though as the Trojans
jumped out on top 8-0, 13-3 and 14-4. Hawaii showed heart in
remaining competitive and closed the gap to 14-10 but the Trojans
pulled out the win anyway. That seemed to serve as a wake-up call and
the return of Jason Ring was the final nail in the coffin for the men
of Troy. Hawaii jumped out early, got up 12-3 and then finally put
the match away at 15-8. The match was a surprising contrast timewise,
in that it lasted over 2.5 hours, compared to last nights 90 minute
romp. Next up for the Bows is Laverne. I feel sorry for them even
though the Bows are sure to be a little tired after tonight.
Still looking forward to the upcoming home stand....UCLA, UC Irvine,
BYU and Pacific. It's gonna be great!!!!
