Hi all,

I am looking for phone numbers of Canadian tri/bike dealers/retail
store/whatever so I can get a catalogue. All the bike shops here in town think
that mountain bikes are the only thing on 2 wheels. I used to just buy stuff
in the USA - but the exchange rate is so high that stuff just plain costs to
much now.

I used to get a catalogue from 'velotech' or something like that based in
Quebec but alas I never bought anything from them so they stoped sending.

any help is appreciated !

I've ordered clothing ( they have no bikes though ) from Velotique in Toronto.
I don't have their ph# with me but they are excellent to deal with ( plus they
have lots of x-country stuff ).

Another place to try is RaceLink and they the golden horse shoe area as well.
I've never ordered from they myself, but a friend bought a set of wheels from
them and was very happy. Their number is (905) 824-6429, and they'll send a
price list. Racelink carries all the good Shamino (105, 600, DA) and Campy
(athena, chorus, record) stuff, wheels (wire, disk and Campy Shamals), bikes
(including tri bike by Gardin) and anyother part you may want.

I've also 'herd' (note: I don't know myself) of Peco's in Ottawa selling mail
order, but they have a rep. in the east of ripping off other bike shops by
underselling. Great if your buying, but lets keep our good honest bike shops
around a few years longer.
