Djoker and Nadal on same side, what a surprise. Organiser want to
protect their TV revenue.

When was the last time Nadal and Djoker were in the same half in a
slam before now? It's been years, no?

Because the blatantly fixed draws has been generated media scrutiny,
they had no choice but to alter the pattern.

"As usual"? You mean like last year and the year before when Fed and Nole
met in the semis? It *is* a surpirse...because it's a change. A pleasant one
to boot. I'm sure you will join me in crossing fingers and toes for a
Djok/Federer final.....that would be a very nice change for tennis. :^)

What do you think the chances of that are? What kills me is that if
Djoker defeats Rafa, Fed might not meet him in the final. He may not
get that far. Berdych being on his quarter is bad news.

If Fed does meet Djoker in the final and is fresh and has breezed
through, it's a coin toss. Fed is the superior clay and grass player
to Djoker, no doubt.

Nole and Rafa aren't big TV names in Europe?

Explain...

Would not a Rafa-Nole semi final be a blockbuster?

It's the "French" open; with Djokovic and Nadal on the same side, one
gets knocked out, and there is no Djokovic/Nadal final. A Djokovic-
Nadal final would have been almost guaranteed if they were on opposite
sides.

This gives a French player more of a chance to get to the final and a
try for the win.

Berdych is not going to beat fed on clay and I still think Nadal is going to win this slam and his fan will say he had to go beat world #1 and 3 player to win and blow it out of proportion. Same way we fan did when roger had to beat the to top player at Wimbledon. RST doesn't have two many bandwagon fan.

I really think the people don't like rafa as much as federer

Well, we know Berdy has become a bit of a problem for Fed.....but Berdy has
his hands full getting through his own draw. He needs to beat Monf, Gulbis,
Robredo and Almagro....all of whom can give him trouble.

Doesn't answer my question...

Aren't Rafa and Nole popular with TV entities in Europe? Are they not each able to generate large audiences?
