I think it has in general surprisingly good reviews... 7,6 at RT. Heck,
I give it 4-5. Very little to do with Captain A, it's more about
Avengers - with lots (too much) fighting and characters. Had to even put
young Spidey there for good measure.
The lame thing though is that Avengers fight mostly against each other
and not for kill so it lacks suspense. The story and acting is pretty
pedestrian as well, apart from Downey jr who does his thing solid.

What is it with these creatively constipated Hollywood people rebooting the same franchise 3 times in 15 years anyway? Worst of all, they keep getting it wrong.

Peter Parker was very young boy in this one. But still...
"In Sam Raimi's original Spider-Man movie, Aunt May was played by
Rosemary Harris, who was 75 at the time of the release — 48 years older
than leading man Tobey Maguire. When Andrew Garfield took over as the
wall-crawling superhero in 2012, he was 28 years old, while the second
Aunt May, Sally Field, was 66 — an age difference of 38 years.
Now, with Tomei and Holland, that difference is down to 32 years"
