These guys seem to RUIN themselves beating Federer... last week and

He was ruined before facing fed. In other words, injured Berdych beat
Federer easily.
...while "injured" Federer lost to Berdych at Wimbledon.

Perhaps it can be attributed to the high of beating Federer and the
inclination of the person
to relax just a little after a big win. Used to see the same thing
with Korda. He'd knock off
Sampras then lose to anybody half-decent in the next round.

Berdych is a stereotypical Chokoslovakian...only now it doesn't sound
so good with
Slovakia and the Czech Republic being separate states....but he is so
typically good
and bad in the same event. Excellence week in and week out was
something Lendl
had to develop...it didn't come naturally.

Clearly he was in pain against Djokovic. Djokovic has been itching to
throw this event;
he hasn't worked very hard at all. Wouldn't be too surprised to see
Murray take him in
straights. I'm not sure Novak wants to put any more pressure on
himself. But I'm almost
always wrong these days when it comes to being a Djokerologist. And
since we're dealing
with Murray, this final is definitely a tough call. Murray SHOULD be
ready to rumble; he's been
for shit for so much of this year but if anybody can push Djoker on a
good day it should be
Murray.

I'd say "Load up on Murray boys! Fill yer boots"......but I've been
there, done that. No
predictions here.

My heart says that Murray could be in with a realistic shout
tomorrow....certainly as you point out he *should* be the hungrier of the
two...needs the win the most...very capable of beating Djoke....and
yet....my head tells me that Djoke shouldn't have too much problem.

We shall see! :)

More proof of how hard birdman felt he needed to play against Federer to
win.
their has been a pattern of this. look what happened to Delpo after
beating Federer in the 09 US open. he needed wrist surgery after the
match. and was out for a awhile. he said his wrist was fine before the
final. their are more examples of this
same thing after beating Federer. its obviously a pattern. and just
shows how some guys feel how hard they have to play against Federer to
beat him. im quite enjoying this.

I am a big Federer fan and I think this is crap what you are saying.
The fact is it is not as difficult for these guys to beat Federer
today. What are you smoking?
Same thing is happening to Nadal now. The aura is not as great for
either now. Reality is a tough pill to swallow for some.

No Court_1 your taking the smaller events too seriously. the fact that
Federer made it to another FO final this year beating Joker. and
outplaying Nadal early on in the final shows Federer is far from
finished wining majors. when Federer wins his next major Court_1 i don't
want to hear any more of this crap from you.
and for a so called Fed fan your not a very loyal one. your apparently
only a fan when Fed is winning. now you claim to like the Joker because
he's winning so much right now. give me a break. your probably not even
a tennis fan.

I never said Federer will not win another major, I said it will not be
easy. Don't put words in my mouth. Also, who the hell are you to tell
me I am not a Federer fan? I am a huge fan. Just because I say it will
not be easy for him to win a slam does not make me any less of a fan
than you are. I think he can win one more slam if all goes well. I
don't think if he wins one more slam that he will go on some sort of
winning slam rampage as if he were superman and 24 again. No slam will
ever be easy for him to win again in the future. He can do it, but it
will never be easy. You have clown players beating him these days that
he used to beat in his sleep years ago.

I am not a big Joker fan. I don't dislike him but I prefer Federer and
Nadal. I only stated that Djokovic has a good personality although I
find him cheesy. I certainly have no problems with Djokovic though and
like him well enough.

Re me not being a tennis fan, give me a break. I know more about
tennis probably than you do. I also play tennis recreationally. I have
been going to the major tennis tournament held in my city since I was
around 8 years old. I have seen most of the tennis pros both men and
women live. Don't tell me I am not a tennis fan. I will go head to
head with you re tennis knowledge any day.

Also, learn how to spell properly!

"No Court_1 your taking the smaller events too seriously" It is you
are or you're taking the smaller events too seriously, not "your."

I am not selling out poor Fed as you call him for Djoker. I just don't
hate Djokovic and am realistic that Federer is long past his prime.
Whatever Fed wins these days is gravy for me. I am not greedy. I still
ALWAYS root for Federer no matter what. Would never root for Novak
over Federer. NEVER.

You are just a sore loser because Djokovic is thrashing your hero. Who
can take anything you say seriously. Nobody could be that stupid

Well i was clearly out of line Court_1. i get carried away too much at
times defending Roger when i think people are writing him off too
easily. he's no longer in his prime. and obviously can't play like he
used to. but i just believe his incredible talent will be enough to over
come being slower in the movement and reflexes. in other words i think
Federer will some how sooner or later adapt to his lower abilities
playing against the power players especially. he even said he's open to
trying a new racket to get more power if he feels he can no longer
compete with the one he's been using.
