Of course she doped! She was taking the drug for 10 years. She is the highest paid female athlete in the world with a team of slaves wiping her ass whose only job it is is to know about the ins and outs of the drugs she uses. The "story" she gave about not clicking on an email WADA sent is for retards to believe. The drug was on monitoring lists since 2015. It has been banned in other sports. Her team probably figured the drug would be cleared out of her system in time or they figured it wouldn't be picked up in the test. Or perhaps they figured if it was picked up, she wouldn't go down because of her star stature.
The story she is giving about her taking the drug to prevent diabetes because diabetes runs in her family is bullshit. You think she would take some obscure drug only produced in Russia for a real health issue when the best drugs and doctors exist in the US where she lives? Plus, there are medical doctors online who have weighed in on this topic and they say there is no way this drug would be prescribed to prevent diabetes. It's used for coronary heart disease and if she had that she wouldn't be playing pro tennis.
And do you think she would start a freaking candy business if she were truly worried about diabetes ffs? She took this specific drug for performance enhancing reasons. Don't be a bloody moron. This story she is giving is a typical story pro athletes give to try and do damage control after the fact. She dopes and that fat ass Serena dopes and elite athletes dope. Wake up already.
As for her being noble because she is owning up to this rather than pulling an Armstrong, she obviously had no choice! Her hand was forced and rather than having the WTA or WADA leak the story she wanted to take control of her spin.
I think she will get a year ban which will be reduced because apparently what she did do right is declare the drug on the forms of this drug test and her drug tests in the past. That will be used as mitigating circumstances. They'll argue that they were being forthright.
