...BIG chance for Ferrer! Needs to bury Soda today to give himself the
chance.

OR....if Soda gets the win today against Ferrer in straights, Fed could have
an accidental 'blip' against Soda to potentially send Murray crashing again,
like the Del P match last year! ;)

Hope we have a Fed/Nads semi.

The key word is potentially...It would still be up to Murray vs Ferrer.
Besides, that "blip" could send fed himself out...

Anyway, if some here are wondering if Federer qualified for the semis
yet, no he didn't although it looks very likely now.

If Ferrer wins a set today then Fed is in the semis.

I am hoping for a Federer/Nadal semi's as well. I would like to see
how Federer adjusts to Nadals' style of grinding since they haven't
played in almost 3 years. I wished this was a best of 5 sets like in
the slams. In many ways Nadal has the advantage in a best of 5 sets.
However, in a 3 set match Nadal hasn't done as well except for the
clay courts.

May in the Madrid final.

It could happen if Soda completely thrashes both Ferrer and Federer
*and* Murray completely thrashes Ferrer as well... All of those will
have to be more convincing results than the ones Federer posted so
far, which is next to impossible.

I want soda to win. Ferrer doesn't offer much of a threat in this
tournament
