In 2009 DC vs Czechia he hit 78 aces or so. It was surpassed by Isner-Mahut anomaly in 2010, but such long matches aren't possible anymore so arguably Karlović is the man for kinda "regular" five setters.
He never served most aces in a season, he almost did it once I think, but Ivanišević at 1477 in 1996 has been the man.
He surpassed Ivanisevic for most career aces I think but then he also got surpassed by Isner.
Still, Karlovic's has the highest % of aces per match.
