Meanwhile, Nadal and Ferrer will play an exhibition in Taiwan on October the
1st. Way to press home the point about overplaying guys....really good work.

Like the union guy who needs his breaks and his lunch time to the
maximum every day because the work
is so tiring....yet he's there for all the overtime he can bag....

Nothing beats fatigue like a big bag of cash.

An exhibition is just a joke for these players. How can anybody
compare an exhibition to a tournament? That is just silly. Of course
these guys should be playing exhibitions and raking in the money? Why
shouldn't they?
No exhibition is a serious tennis match!

Sure, play the exhibition matches....but don't complain that you have
to play too many
events per year. Exo is not a competitive match but you have to fly
to your destination,
put on a good show, smile for the camera, do interviews and so on.
It's still work. It's
not down time or practice.

Rubbish. It's practice. Or even lighter than that.

The idea that you can't complain about schedule if you play exos is
absurd trolling originating from vari. That's just what it is, trolling.

To my understanding Taiwan is relatively close to Shanghai as well...

My point is I don't think that an exhibition is an event in the same
sense of the word that a tournament is. Exhibitions are nothing but
fun and games for a tennis pro except he/she is paid a million dollars
or more to participate. Who in his right mind would not participate in
an exhibition if he is paid handsomely? It is not strenuous work for a
pro tennis player. The matches are pretty much fixed beforehand. Not
the same as a tournament at all, far from it.

Nadal complaining about the tournament schedule has nothing to do with
him playing or not playing exhibitions IMO. Two different things and I
am not sure why people categorize them as the same.
