No, he will not get beaten. Who would beat him?
Fate?

My opinion? Nadal will lose in Rome because playing back to back
masters series is too much. He will lose in Rome because of exhaustion
from playing 2 weeks in a row at the masters series everyday(unlike at
the majors) and he will lose and could be before the final of Rome.
Yes, he has complained about Madrid in the past. The best answer I
have seen on this thread is FATE. You never know, conditions right,
level of energy from Nadal, on a day his opponent is in the zone while
Nadal isn't.
Tomorrow at the hands of Ferrer.
Fleeting HOPE?!
So you are actually hoping that Nadal gets injured. From now on I don't
buy that even fedfans believe their guy is goat...
Um... NO.
Where was that inference? (Cite it... exact words). Injury never
entered my mind, nor was there the remotest suggestion of hoping he'd
get injured.
Of all the Fed fans here, I am the only one who ever says anything
nice about Rafa or shows the remotest appreciation for his fortitude
and talent.
Anyway... I'm waiting for your citation of where the imagined "injury"
inference comes from in my post.
It'll be a long wait.
Hoping someone loses in a final has nothing to do with fervently
wishing they break a leg.
Now insert the obligatory "DUH" after that pronouncement.
"There's still a chance he could be totally fried by the FO
Why would Rafa be more motivated to beatdown Ferrer worse then last
week? You make NO sense. Rafa is ripe for the picking. If Dodig had
more self-belief, the butt picker would be out already.
you never know when a canas might appear for a fleeting moment
of glory or two.
You guys are delusional if you think Ferrer is beating Rafa on clay
tomorrow. Only way it will happen is if Rafa is feeling merciful and
sorry for his old buddy and decides to "give" him the match. Or if
Rafa is injured. Otherwise, I just can't see it.
shit happens. it happened at the AO no?
Well I think he actually does feel sorry for Ferrer. But in the end I
think he played Barcelona because of ranking points and wants to take
them all.
Unless he really played there only because he felt he was obliged to.
Hard to see him tanking for his friend though...yet if ever this could
be it.
> Or if
> Rafa is injured. Otherwise, I just can't see it.
Ferrer is always a tough match but ultimately his playing style on clay
is not optimal for beating Nadal on clay...he rallies too much and lets
Rafa groove into his groundgame.
Rafa will today win his 6th Barcelona title and his 31st clay court
title...the latter putting him in front of Borg, behind of only Muster
and Vilas...claycourt specialists whose structure of clay tournament
schedule was more tipped towards quantity than quality.
If Rafa wins this imo he will be greater claycourter than Borg, even if
he never won a claycourt title after this.
Spoken like a true Rafa fucktard.
Great claycourters don't CHEAT !!!
