Really 45 minutes? That's borderline impossible with all the
changeovers. The shortest match I have ever seen is still the Graf -
Zvereva FO final, 34 minutes. In the same pace three sets would be 51
minutes.

Yes but to put in perspective Bram had been retired 4 years, had a
career high rank of 996 when he was a pro, and never had a pro tour
win, his best ever results were taking seppi to a tiebreak in davis
cup, and beating the world number 1500 in a futures.
Bram lost nearly every match he played, even at the futures level,
even once being bageled by a player outside the worlds top 1500.

Yes, but the point is that it takes time to play three sets of tennis
with all the changeovers no matter what. I'd imagine even I could make
it very close to 45 minutes against Murray. He would ace me almost
every time, and if I got some second serve back somehow, he would
finish the point with the next shot. Most likely he would hit a winner
returning my every serve. But if I took time like Nadal between every
point, and wouldn't hurry back from changeovers, it would take some
time...

More stats, Laurent Bram apparently only won 15 points in the match vs
80 for Murray. So Bram was averaging UNDER one point per game.

Must have been the worst "Bramwashing" since the Manchurian Candidate.

Bram may have been stoked for the match, but the scoreline doesn't
show it. ;-)

Pete would've won 6-3, 6-4, 6-3 quarter-arsed and Fed would've thrown a
6-2 set in there.
Now, how's the poor Luxie to make a living ? The whole Lilliput found
out on the evening news that he's been reduced to null.

Gilbert reproached Andy the propensity for chasing bagels. Well, Brad,
they don't make them like they used to anymore.

(at least two of the 15 points ceded were DFs, so maybe there's hope)

It's another feather in his cap for GOAT to have not won a slam.

I think whisper never claimed to have won sets against Doohan (but
smt. like lost to him with score like 6-2 6-3).

Yes. I almost added that to my post last night, but decided that
