It's extremely rare for anyone to be banned, but once they're banned, it's
the actual person that's banned

Ummm it is very interesting. You will just ban a person but won't provide
him any reason in a coherent manner . You ban someone just because some
posters disagree with him even if it is the other posters who started
flaming the original poster first just accusing him of being a troll but
then reply to this banned poster in desperation when other posters have
replied discussing the table-tennis issues.

Oh yeah that makes lots of sense

What you need to understand is that private forums like Alex Li (My
TT) , HaggisV (OOAK) & Dan (TTDaily) are businesses to promote the
products & services they sell thru their forums. So if you start
exposing ITTF & IOC fraud, they come down on the forums and forums
have to adjust accordingly. It is nothing personal. Just corruption
being passed down from IOC & ITTF with clever information control &
manipulation & censorship. If the posters at those forums want a free
expression of ideas they would not be posting in censored forums like
that. But it is just the state of the internet (forums) today, not
limited to just table-tennis.
If you have been around in the initial days of internet (& USENET),
you would know how Rev.Larry Hodges & his disciples try tried to take
over and control not only this newsgroup RSTT but other table-tennis
newsgroups as well. Rev.Hodges & his disciples successfully used this
forum & got the then USATT president Terry Timmins removed from office
because Terry Timmins fired him. Then Rev.Hodges vigorously defended
the Aspect Ratio Regulation of 1998 by managing to confuse the public
as he did when he got the Speed-Glue ban reversed in 1995. You don't
have to believe me. All you need to do is research this newsgroup &
read the TT magazine of USATT during this period when Rev.Hodges was
editor before Terry Timmins fired him. Rev. Hodges used the magazine
as his personal playground to get the speed glue ban reversed in 1995.
Yes he would claim he is not with ITTF but the fact is that the ITTF
Equipment Committee chairman Dr.Rufford Harrison was American &
Rev.Hodges's cult groupies pounded Dr.Harrison and got him to repeal
the speed-glue ban.
