HKUST team visits BayStateGames at UMassBoston

[Table Tennis]

The Hong Kong Univerity of Science And Technology Table Tennis Team are
returning to Boston tonight after a week of play at RPI at Troy, NY.

The HKUST team consists of:

They will be going to spectate the Bay State Games table tennis events at
noon tomorrow at UMass-Boston, and you are welcome to come and watch this
spectatcular event where beginner meets beginner and the top meets the top
from around the state. A table will also be set up for anyone to
challenge the HKUST team.

Last week they toured Boston arriving from a week play at Long Island.
They were staying at my house, arrive on Monday at 6pm driven by SUNY stony
brook TT player Chao who stayed for one night.

Here's a brief decription of our schedule in Boston:
Monday
dinner at New House of Toy , Chinatown
9pm - tour of Kinetic Sports Club, Chinatown
played at MIT Burton Hall dorm with Sun Man

Tusday
played at KSC, Chinatown
6pm - volleyball at Pagoda Park, Chinatown
dinner at my cousin's

Wednesday
11a-2pm played at Sargent Gym, Boston University
toured Harvard University
6-8pm played at KSC, Chinatown
dinner at my cousin's

Thursday
shopped at Harvard Coop and MIT Coop
4:30-7pm played at Sargent Gym , BU
dinner at Ocean Wealth, Chinatown (it was a big thunderstorm)

Friday
shopped at Maine Factory Outlet
7pm went to Joshua II fellowship, at Chinese church (BCEC), Chinatown
9:30pm dinner at Hong Kong Eatery, Chinatown

Saturday
lunch at Fanuel Hall
3-6pm played at MIT
7:30 attended "Make a Joyful Noise" at Chapel of CBCGB, Lexington
dinner at Eldo Teahouse, Chinatown

Sunday
11am attended cantonese worship service, BCEC, Chinatown
12:30pm dimsum at New House of Toy, Chinatown
shopping at Burlington Mall
3-6pm played at Waltham TTC
7:30pm BBQ at my house

Monday
left for RPI, Troy , NY driven by Jasper Wong (wo...@rpi.edu)

This has been a first for the HKUST team to visit the League of Northeast
Inter-collegiate Table Tennis (L-NITT). We're in the process of setting
up an exchange program with them. BUTTA club treasurer, Adam Yen, and I
will be passing by Hong Kong in August and hopefully we can meet up with
the HKUST TTC there.
