I am interested in purchasing a foosball table for home
use and I want to get a good one that is going to last. Does
anyone have some suggestions as to which type of table I should
get? Also, if anyone knows of table distributors in the Toronto
area I would appreciate that information as well.
Thanks,
Mike

It depends on what you want to spend and qhat quality you want to get. You
can get a Tornado time play for about $800 or you can pick up a Sportcraft
from WalMart for $299. If you go with the Sportcraft, make sure you replace
the playing surface with a flatter, more solid piece of wood. The Sportcraft
is a perfectly good table, but it is not the same as the Tornado.

Today I went Dufferin games!!!! They are Canadian!!!!!
Well they sell a nice TABLE SOCCER table and they can order you Dynamo's
if you ask! They don't sell Tornado's though I would like one
myself!!!! I live In London Ontario just two hours from you!!!!
How good are you???? Could you teach me stuff??????? Or are you like me
and been only playing for a bit!!!!! The prices at Dufferin are between
$700 for the Table Soccer and $1600+ for the Dynamo!!!! If you do order
a tornado from the states they tend to kill you at the border with taxes
and shipping!!!! I figured it out this afternoon it would come to about
$1900....CRAZY!!!!!!!! Anyone else got any suggestions??????

nado's
At Clay's foos page, www.foosball.com, go to Waterman's table
shop.......You can get the TP2000, just like the coin op, but no coin
mech, for like 800 bucks. I got one from him and was more than pleased.
They deliver right to your door.
Yeah!!!! I have a suggestion!!!!! Take it easy on the exclamation
marks!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously though. I think your best bet for a cheap table is to drive to
a big tourney with a van and buy the table from the promoter. Sometimes
the winner of an event wins a table and you can get it from them for a
song. Then you bring it back yourself. No shipping, practically new
table. Whats not to Like????????!!!??!?!?!?!?!?!???!!!!!!?!?! :)
he's exactly right - and make sure you get a coin-op. one day you'll
want to put it out in a bar for a while, and you'll be kicking yourself if
you go for that, "buy a Time Play 2000," line that Tornado's dishing out.
basically your're NOT going to put the table out and charge by the hour -
it is just not going to work.
