Tiff,

Thanks for all the results. I really appreciate the effort you put out
to help those of us who didn't make it this year. (As well as the
efforts you've put out at other events.)

Can anyone who was there post how many tables, how the turnout was, and
any other tidbits. Also where are next years tournaments going to be
held? It sounds like Las Vegas for the Hall of Fame (Kick-Off). Is
this true? Any other announcements?

Enquiring minds want to know.

It didn't seem like it was a great turnout, but I never get that right.
There was no media there, i.e. ESPN. The highest table number I heard
announced was 130 something. There may have been more. I posted next
year's tour seperately.

Yep, as Tiff posted else where the tour kick off is in Las Vegas at the
Riveria. Then we go to Minneaplois for the US Open, Atlanta for the
Naitonals and <gasp> Canton, Ohio for the Nationals. Now i perosnally would
have scheduled the Hall of Fame in Canton but it's not easy to get Hotels
the weekends you want them.

The turnout. It was good. Someone was saying a record turnout, but i don't
think that's right. I seem to remember a 1024 chart in Open Singles a few
years back and this one was on a 512 Chart with byes. Doubles was a 256
team chart.

Tables. 192 was how many i had to use in the computer. There may have been
a few more.

Announcements. The only thing i can think of is that Points Race they had
mentioned earlier wasa definite for next year.

Thats about it. Tournament ran slower that i had hoped. Singles finished
at a reasonable time, Doubles ran slow. Finished at i think 3AM.
Limited/GoalieWars at 6:30. Pretty much the usual...
