Rules the same as last year, courtesy of Alkamista:

https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/rec.sport.soccer/XSc9u05-nZM/17dzvX4jBAAJ

You get 10 probability points which you can allocate to any active head coach in one of Europe's big 5 leagues (ENG, ESP, GER, ITA, FRA). Goal is to have the most points by December 31st 2020, based on fired coaches.
Only three rules:
1) The coach has to be active at a club in one of the Big 5 leagues when you submit your entry (duh)
2) You can allocate a maximum of 3 points to a coach (to ensure a minimum of 4 coaches per entry)
3) No limit on number of coaches (i.e. you can nominate up top 10 if you like)

Deadline: Friday October 2

Does a coach have to be fired, or can it be "leave by mutual consent" or
"leaving to spend more time with his family" or other type of resignation.

My preliminary list: still deciding on points to allocate, and will
drop some accordingly. And maybe change some completely

1. Tuchel
2. Koeman
3. Wagner
4. Mourinho
5. Solskjaer
6. Wilder
7. Dyche

Darn, for some reason I thought the deadline was the transfer deadline
(and international break) - October 5. This term is killing me. Should
have taken the early retirement incentive package this summer after all
- except of course I had to make the decision by March 13, at which
point the Uni was still open, and I did not yet know about my grant
application (which was successful, and would have allowed me to keep my
lab after retirement for a couple of years)

So I guess the below at 1 pt each is my official entry.

Unofficially, I would delete Wagner from the list (unfair to keep him),
along with Mourinho. Raise Solskjaer to 3 points.

Actually, Crotone is dead last with 2 points out of 10 matches. West Brom is second from bottom, with the worst goal difference in the league, so maybe there is still hope for us vultures...

in the near future after today.

As for Favre, I did not see that coming at all. Especially with the

The criticism has been there ever since they squandered that nine-point lead in the league.
And Haaland's singular prowess has papered over a lot of cracks, like still not having found
a fitting role for Brandt, and Reus looking shot.

But with a former Dortmund coach who's been chased out of town currently leading the
league, Watzke and Zorc might also have a long hard look at their own pretensions.

Crotone went on to win 4-1 over Spezia on the weekend, so that should give Stroppa some breathing room. West Brom, on the other hand, keeps on losing, and now they have an away trip at ManCity in midweek...

Sackings that we have missed:

Vincent Hognon (Metz)
Stephane Jobard (Dijon)
Christian Gourcuff (Nantes)
Oscar Garcia (Celta Vigo)
