Let's start with some changes to the Armata:

DF: Bastoni, Florenzi, Spinazzola
MF: Barella, Jorginho, Bernardeschi, Cristante
FW: Chiesa, Falcinelli, Immobile (c), Kean, Petagna

Pedri out, Moreno (Villareal) in.
Llorente out, Fabian Ruiz in.
Castillejo out, Diego Costa in.

I am sure I will change all this tomorrow once I see the lineups/

Out with McKennie, in with Roofe.
Will you allow Kevin Theophile Catherine as a Martinquais ?
Andres Andrade (LASK) is Panamanian and might be a defender. Will have
to check on UEFA site.
Eduardo Guerrero is also from Panama and plays for Tel Avid. Another
option to consider.
Then there's Guerrier (Haiti) of Qarabag
ANd another Canadian, Manjrekar James of Midtjylland (has not played much)
Does Mariano (Real MAdrdi) count as Dominican ?
I think Pulisic is still injured and Adams is bit useless, as is Weah.

I think Lukaku is back, but E. Hazard has been MIA for a whole.
So in case I forget to do anything tomorrow AM, make at least that
change (E. Hazard out, Lukaku in, and made captain)
Ake was out injured so out with him as well. Replace with Alderweireld.

Did I say Petagna? I meant Insigne. Chiesa unlikely to start, but I'll keep him in the lineup.

DF: Bastoni, Florenzi, Spinazzola
MF: Barella, Jorginho, Bernardeschi, Cristante
FW: Chiesa, Falcinelli, Immobile (c), Kean, Insigne

OK, but McKennie is expected to start, and probably in an advanced-ish position too, at home to Ferencvaros. You may regret this.

Don't think so.

There's also Nick Blackman of Maccabi TA and Barbados.

I guess that the Roofe rule applies here. If you don't pick him for the Midgets, then he's eligible for the Rockers.

There was a slight improvement in the Pact's performance last time out, but still way too many goals left out. The Secretariat is still not happy. Let's go back to a more traditional lineup, but throw in hattrick boy Julis.

DF: Bondar, Rakitskyi, Diveyev
MF: Szoboszlai, Anton Miranchuk, Erokhin, Tsygankov, Mkhitaryan
FW: Lewandowski ©, Dzyuba, Yaremchuk, Julis

Hm...Salah tested negative and is poised to return, but is that enough to make him keep the armband instead of Europa League goal-scoring machine Moanes Dabbur? Let's go with Dabbur. Also, let's put Celtic's Hatem Abd Elhamed in defense.

DF: Hakimi, Bensebaini, Abd Elhamed
MF: Ziyech, Mahrez, Refaelov, Taarabt
FW: Salah, Dabbur, Azmoun (c), Solomon, Zahavi

I've already forgotten again who Justin is.
Mount never does anything, and neither does Foden, but let's leave them
in for the moment. Also have to wait and see if Greenwood's still
in the doghouse or gets a game.

Justin, Willock out
Walker, Abraham in

DF: Walker, Trippier, Tavernier
MF: Foden, Mount, Greenwood, Maddison
FW: Abraham, Sterling, Rashford, Kane ©, Nketiah

Messi didn't travel with the team to Ukraine.

Raguž tore his cruciate ligament against Antwerp.
Arase scored last time but is terrible.
Two youngsters in instead, Rapid's starlet Yusuf Demir and Young Boys striker
Felix Mambimbi.

Liendl in for Junuzović. Save us, Maradona of the Alps!
No idea who should be captain, let's try Baumgartner.

DF: Lainer, Trauner, Fuchs
MF: Freuler, Balić, Baumgartner (c), Fassnacht, Liendl
FW: Sabitzer, Kara, Mambimbi, Demir

Is Mariano anywhere near the Spanish team, or has he been chasing clouds all these years?

This never ending football season is never ending. Tempted to put in the soon to be youngest player to ever play in the UCL, Dortmund do play In Brugges.

Boateng scored last week, so therefore will never score again, Hummels is back. I dont recall if Kimmich was covided or injured? I will give the oaf one more shot at captain, he is due some goals and they do play Casino. though, I am thinking Bayern may rest players, so prolly make late changes.

I am trying to limit the team with players whose names only start with G.

Oh and as for Marko Marin, he did score las week for whatever shit team he plays for in that backward shithole country he plays in

Don't know. I googled "Mariano Diaz Luis Enrique" and it looks as if every single news agency in the world picked up Mariano's desire to be called up by Spain in September 2018, but not a single article said anything about whether the interest was mutual.

So, definitely eligible for the Rockers.

Mount and Hudson-Odoi both start, and I just know that the one of the two I don't pick
will get on the scoresheet. And if I pick them both neither will. I'll call that Werner's UtN theorem.

Ah what the hell, Mount out, Hudson-Odoi in. Thank me later, Mason.

A harsh matchday for the underdogs - Krasnodar, Rennes and Ferencváros all fell cruelly in stoppage time.
What's more, Sevilla won't be able to win their umpteenth Europa League title!

Why do I even bother, the referees are always against the German teams, while giving french teams every bogus call. Ixion was right with his conspiracy theory all along, the pro bias and endless decisions for french teams, while everything going against German teams in all competitions is just ridiculous! Like he has always said, the only French team(including the NAT team) to ever win anything without ref bribing/cheating was the Marseille win of the champions league back in 93.

In all honestly it was really bad, studs up challenges, dimaria, neymar and Mbappe diving all the time, every little call going for PSG...at one point I heard Nagelsmann(I assume) talk to a ref or linesman (in english) say something like, "certainly you must see that, you are only one metre away! I have to assume PSG have paid for the UCL this season. Bet your house on PSG, it is a sure thing.

SO Kimmich is actually injured with a Meniscus tear (dont let them take out the meniscus Josh, not even sure trimming is such a good idea)and not the covid, which I thought. According to kicker Hermann will start for the foals, for the moment kicker is suggesting Sane will not start, but I will wait before I start calling in Pretenders and PSV players.

De Bruyne did not play. Curses. And Carrasco counts as a forward

Well, Eden Hazard got on the scoresheet, and everywhere else they've gone on a goal strike, so efficiency scores should be quite high.

Rockers were also on one (Dest) but now on 5 (Arfield, Bailey X2 ,
Lozano) and a missed one by Roofe.

All these changes showed up in my feed just now. I'll update the lineups, but no effect on the scores, as far as I can tell.

It helps the Tugas to have Cristiano Ronaldo plus a bunch of consistent goalscorers.

Whereas Lewandowski has not been as explosive as expected. This kid Lukas Julis is scoring at the pace of about one goal per game this season, expect to see him on some Bundesliga screen soon.

Big result for the Rockers in the fight to avoid the wooden spoon.

Armata miraculously hanging in there. Parolo's goal killed the possibility of a perfect efficiency score.

Some inspired picks by the Bungs manager, but also lots of left-out goals.

Waffles/Windmills struggling this year.

That Pizzi goal was worth more than 5 points in the overall standings, could prove decisive.

It's starting to look like a two-way race at the top, with the Bungs still with an outside chance to get back into it. Midgets, Pact and Peaceniks make up the comfortable mid-table. From the Armata on downwards it's a race to avoid the wooden spoon.

A remarkable variety of scorers for the Bungs.

Maybe in previous years. CR7 has one, Haaland has six goals and it is
an easy © choice.

This here, yes, D. Jota 4, Pizzi 4, Paulinho 4, B. Fernandes 3,
S. Oliveira 3. It's tempting to move the © to one of them, but then the
weaufx gods will have CR scoring a couple of hat tricks.

Those F1 points don't change the ranking that much, probably
statistically expected.

I don't remember seeing Gonçalo Ramos has having scored. He shows up
with zero goals on the UEFA. Livesoccertv has Tavernier(o.g.) and Pizzi,
as the scorers for Benfica.

Yes, like the Napoli goal this was changed some time afterwards.
I kind of have to agree with that, it was a pretty big deflection:

It doesn't help me that with Kane and Vardy two of the most reliable scorers
play in the Europa League, where they are only deployed if the match happens
to shape up badly, like for Leicester in Braga.

Also, Balogun WTF?

Portuguese players have seriously impressed in recent times. Despite some hiccups,
their clubs have performed consistently, too.

I'm very curious what will happen in summer. E.g. Man City are in dire need
of a striker to replace Agüero. To not have gone broke for him last winter
because he had 'only' done it in the Austrian League looks like a major
oversight now.

The kid is soon 26 and only exploded this season. Curious to see where his
career will take him from here.

True, but worst of all I haven't found the balance between Swiss
and Austrian players yet. Of course I'm a bit partial there, too.

The Belgian clubs are a bit weird. Among the countries with a
similar performance in the UEFA ranking (Russia, Netherlands, Austria,
Scotland, Ukraine,...) they are by far the best in terms of depth
(Genk, Brugge, Gent, Anderlecht, Standard Liège all contributing in
more or less equal measure) and at the same time the worst in terms
of points collected by the top team (none of the above comes close
to Ajax, Shakhtar, Celtic, Salzburg, even Copenhagen)

Well, they do change them enough to make a difference. Tugas and Babes have the same number of goals, but Tugas with a clear advantage in the rankings. And a two-goal advantage over the Bungs translates into a full 10-point lead.

Yes. Favorites for Euro 2021?

But being a late bloomer is not that uncommon for big, tall strikers. He actually broke out already in the first half of 2020 when on loan at Sigma Olomouc.

Very true. Rapid's target man Ercan Kara, who could've single-handedly saved the Wonderland score,
had failed in Austria's third division at the age of 20; went back to the fourth division where he became
top scorer; also became top scorer in the third division the next year; then played successfully just half
a season in the second league; was snatched up by Rapid and now at 24 scored two fine goals in the
Europa League. You can literally see how he's playing with relish, just enjoying the opportunity.

Defense will be the key, and it is a bit lacking.

Can PT even come out of the group stage? With a few exceptions here and
there, PT doesn't do well against France and Germany. It would have to
be draw both and beat Hungary, but Hungary is getting better too. Maybe
another three tie for best third masterpiece.
