• The fundamentals of my sports betting strategy are the most effective statistics-wise. It is based on the cold fact that the teams play differently at home compared to away. Therefore, the best sports-prediction strategy should pit the home record of the home team against the away record of the visiting team. Just for starters.

• Next, the wins of the home team are aggregated with the losses of the road team. This total is divided by total games played by the two teams (all games of the home team at home, plus all games of the visiting team on the road). That is the percentage for the 1 prognostication sign; that's the percentage for a home team win.

• Then, the wins of the visiting team on the road are aggregated with the losses of the home team at home. This total is divided by total games played by the two teams (all games of the home team at home, plus all games of the visiting team on the road). That is the percentage for the 2 prognostication sign; that's the percentage for a visiting team win.

• Finally, the ties of the home team are aggregated with the ties of the road team. This total is divided by total games played by the two teams (all games of the home team at home, plus all games of the visiting team on the road). That is the percentage for the X prognostication sign; that's the percentage for a tie (draw).

Evidently, you are well educated and informed. “Parpaluck”, however, has a different meaning. It originates in the slang of the inmates in Communist Romania. “Parpalac” = a long winter coat. The military and police wore such coats in the cold season.

Parpalac is pronounced like Parpaluck. The term was not official under Communism — but wasn’t banned, either. Nowadays, parpalac entered the Romanian vocabulary. Googling on the term shows a wide range of leather parpalace, some very fancy.

And here is the symbolism of Parpaluck. Sometime in December, the inmates were receiving “parpalace” (the plural of parpalac). The long coats were worn out by the military, the low-rank troopers.

Nevertheless, the change to the winter long coats made the inmates the happiest creatures on earth. It was their most celebrated Christmas!

Compared to European football, the American football (NFL particularly) is more volatile. There are changes in NFL hierarchy from one season to the next. I still go with the winners AND losers from the previous season in the first 5 weeks. I expect continuation. If that doesn’t happen in the first 5 games of the new season, I start betting on the new statistics (trends).

The European football is a lot more stable as it is founded on the concept of ‘royalty’. The Reals, Barcas, ManUniteds, Juves, ACMilans, Bayerns… will be markedly be winners season after season…

The trends for 1x2 in European football get stronger after 10 games. The beauty of soccer pools is potentially high prizes when huge upsets take place. Pay more and select 12 when big favorites play.

The U.S. Supreme Court decided last May that online sports-betting is LEGAL in the United States henceforth. My experience with offshore online-gambling outlets: They are BANDITS! They might look impeccable to an AlbIonic, for instance — but only for as long as them players do NOT win. As soon as you win, the hell breaks loose! The futures-odds listed Romania at 100/1 to win UEFA Under-21 championship. I didn’t bet on that because it was hard to find a window-betting outlet where I am now. It might be also that I can’t express myself very clearly in Romanian. I only bet on individual games, like last night on Anglia –– Romania: 2. I am still in entertaining mode when I bet. How to Bet Soccer Futures — USA Style


The “Odds to Win” wager in soccer is also commonly referred to as a ‘future wager’. Bettors must correctly select a team to win an event that takes place at a later time. The money wagered will be tied up until there is an outcome and bettors will receive fixed odds when they place the wager. The future odds are normally updated on a weekly basis and wagers can be placed throughout the season.

To figure out your Win Amount, take the odds and multiply by the amount wagered. For example: Arsenal (10/1) to win the championship. Arsenal is listed as a 10/1 betting choice to win the championship. If you wager $100 on Arsenal to win it all and they capture the championship, then you would win $1000 (10 / 1 x 100). You would collect $1100, which includes your WIN and STAKE ($100).

On the flip side, if you bet on Chelsea (5/7), the way to figure that payout would be laying $140 to win $100. If Chelsea wins the title, the payout comes out to $240, totaling a $100 profit and the $140 stake.

When I said “more money”, I was referring to amount of data. In sports betting, one needs focusing on a limited number of teams. As per my original post, I track the results for the two teams in the game, separated by ‘home’ and ‘away’. See:

It is more manageable, for me at least, to go with competitions I’m more familiar with. And those competitions represent the place where the money is. They have the most expensive but also the best competitors (players and coaches).

So, it is the same thing and it is not the same thing: Betting on Barça or betting on FC Santos. I don’t have time to track all data — and I don’t bet without sufficient statistical facts. Also importantly, I don’t have time to watch many competitions. I limit my sports time quite drastically.

Since I assume you live in South America, you should focus your attention there, not in UEFA.

Right now, Las Vegas no longer offers futures on UEFA Champions League and Europa League. They likely fear (almost) all bets would go for Bayern Munchen and RB Leipzig.

Bundesliga already restarted the competition. The German teams certainly have a big advantage compared to their competitors. The German teams would have midseason form, while the rest of the teams would have just a simple warmup — if that.

Furthermore, Germany has had a far easier-to-handle COVID-19 crisis compared to most European nations. In fact, the nations that form the so-called ‘Top-5 championships’ have been the worst-hit by the pandemic.

However, Las Vegas does offer future betting on ‘UEFA EURO 2021 FINAL (7/11/21)’ and ‘2022 FIFA WORLD CUP FINAL (12/18/22)’.

Apparently, chances are good that the two major soccer competitions will take place. Methinks Germany is the major favorite in both competitions — especially considering the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

I posted the source. You should have checked it out. Betting is offered only on the two competitions I listed. Their dates were set, unlike other international competitions that were postponed. How could Bayern Munich lose the title??? Strangely, the Vegas bookies still offer betting on Bundesliga! It is virtually a guaranteed win if:
• Bet 10000 (ten thousand) to win 100 (minus the 10% house edge).

The bookies will lose 90 for every 10000 bet. The bookies probably expect a number of bettors laying eggs on Dortmund or Leipzig. Who would be so stupid? Borussia Dortmund eliminated themselves by losing at home against Bayern.

In my previous post (May 28) I said the bet was not attractive at all. The payout was far better than now, though: 100 (minus the 10% house edge) for 800. Go figure!

Looks like Bayern Munich will enjoy the same kind of odds to win UEFA Champions League this year.

I've tried this strategy in UPT now. 1 season, FC Mark nearly got relegated to Tier 3; 1 season we avoided relegation to Tier 2 by 2 points; and the 3rd season I tried it, we got relegated to Tier 2.

Google swallowed Deja News and created Google Groups. Deja News was a wonder even during the primitive era of the Internet (1990s). Google Groups was a decent platform, up until this November, 2020, Friday the 13th.

Frankly, I’ve been shocked Google Groups lasted this long! Google is notorious for:

a) Offering services
b) Changing the offerings — always change for the worse
c) Cancelling/discontinuing the offerings.

So, Google Groups reached the second phase: change for the worse. Logically, the cancellation of the service is to be expected.

Google has offered and then discontinued over 25 services in their short life. No company has survived such miserable behavior. But, hey, think how Donald Caligula Trump succeeded in becoming Prez… and lasting 4 years!
