It's only fun to see the big guys go down, but it seldom happens, and
even when it does it doesn't seem right. I miss NUFC.

I find the whole business of religion profoundly interesting. But it
does mystify me that otherwise intelligent people take it seriously.

If what I said happen, it would be a GRAND day for the EPL!
Italy: Fiorentina, because of the way they were unbelievably unjustly
promoted in the first place when they'd only ended about 6th in Serie
B
Uruguay: River Plate, because it's stupid and confusing calling
yourselves a name that already belongs to another team.
Paraguay: 3 de Febrero, because it's confusing, and therefore a bit
silly, to have numbers in the name of a team. Can you imagine somebody
telling you the football results? "Olimpia 2, 3 de Febrero 2"; "Huh?
What? Did Olimpia lose 3-2 or draw 2-2? What's going on here?"
Argentina: Arsenal, same reason as River Plate in Uruguay.
Brazil: Avai, I just don't like the name, I'm not absolutely sure why.
lol .. some more.
Japan: Shimuzu S-Pulse, because it sounds like a lentil
Russia: Rubin Kazan, because it sounds like a magician in a movie
starring Shaq
Germany: Hannover 96 ( Bayern 2 Hannover 96 0 -- what, no, ok ! )
Italy: Livorno, because it sounds like a particularly bitter medicine
France: Nancy, because it sounds too nancy-boy

Hans Kazan is a Dutch Magician and showhost
> Italy: Livorno, because it sounds like a particularly bitter medicine
Livorno was a salad dressing in the Netherlands, not sure if it still
exists

Whelan rubs me the wrong way. I remember last season during the run-
in, when Wigan were one of the teams United had to play, he was
gushing about Ferguson and United's credentials.
I want Burnley to stay up they're a club with a long history. It's
good for them to be back. Plus with Blackburn there, it's another
rivalry. I like rivalries, they adds pice to the league.
Now lets' hope WBA, Middlesborough, or Sheffield United DON'T get
promoted.
I kind of hate seeing any of the smaller clubs relegated, but Phil
Brown really bugs me, so Hull's on the list.

OK fair enough. I thought they were quite good when they came up though.

Here I'm unambiguously for LCFC.

Unfortunately Leicester and WBA look to be in good position to come
up.
I'd like Newcastle, Forest and one of Swansea/Cardiff (would be cool
to have both! Imagine the atmosphere at that Premiership game).
EPL
Everton - Always moaning about money and injuries. If they're too poor
to complete they should sod off into the Championship
West Ham - because they should have been relegated over Mascherano/Tevez
Serie A
Lazio for screwing over Pandev and Ledesma

I have always loved that saying "too good to go down". If you are in
the bottom 2 or 3 at the end of a season then there is no excuse.

I want Leeds back in (two years away), Liverpool down (their supporters
could use the humble pie that Newcastle fans have been enjoying), for
Birmingham to go down to the Championship, then League 1, then League 2,
then fold after a meteor hits their stadium. I also want Coventry up,
Swansea and Cardiff both up, and for Mercenaries United to be Leeds Two.

To this day I insist that he should have faced the same penalty as Cesc
Fabregas would have faced had Brown's charges been anything but lies.
Scumbag.
> Germany: Hannover 96 ( Bayern 2 Hannover 96 0 -- what, no, ok ! )
I always found the English way to communicate results weird. Back in
Germany when I listened to BFBS it went like "Everton 2 Tottenham 0
Manchester City 1 Liverpool 1 ...." with no breaks or anything that
hinted at who played who apart from the order, so if you didn't pay
very close attention and/or did know who played who you'd get confused
quickly.
In Germany the announcer would say either "HSV - Bremen 2-1, Bayern -
Hertha 5-2, ..." or "HSV beat Bremen bei 2 goals to 1, ..." which is
much more user friendly (especially on Sunday mornings)...

Forest, Swansea and Cardiff would just be relegation fodder, just like
WBA. WBA would have a slighly higher chance to stay up as they have
more experience.
I like WBA and Forest, but doubt that it would be a good thing for
Forest to go up. Too expensive, too disruptive. OTOH, it would help to
pay for the new stadium, but I have no idea when they want to build
that.

Wolves, Villa, Birmingham - WBA are the only one missing in the great
big Birmingham/Midlands derby season. I know you don't like them as
you regard them as a jojo team, but you are contradicting yourself a
bit there.
Anyway, the Baggies at least try to play football so they wouldn't be
a bad addition to the EPL. Of course you are right in that they are
not a big enough club to stay long.
Ciao,

So "poor" teams have no place in the EPL?
True, but the good scorereaders would stress the winning goal,
and put a slight pause between results, thus
Liverpool 0 (softly) West Ham 8 (loudly)
pause
QPR 2 (even tone) Luton Town 2 (even tone)
