The results of the fourteenth edition of the poll are here!
Goalkeeper: Neuer
Defender: van Dijk
Midfielder: De Bruyne
Forward: Lewandowski
Player: Lewandowski
Thanks to everyone who voted.
Neuer wins his 4th RSSGotS award, 6 years after his 3rd, in the same
days as the other goalkeeper with three wins (Casillas) retires.
Van Dijk defends the defender title, but the orchestra plays a sad tune
as far as the player title is involved. So far, when someone wins the
RSSDotS award twice, he does back to back... then he doesn't win it
anymore, and we have a different winner every year for the next six
years. Let's see if Van Dijk is able to break the spell.
De Bruyne and Lewandowski, despite being established world class
players, get their first award. And De Bruyne does it without winning a
big trophy.
On the other hand Lewa, Neuer and VVD are all helped by the visibility
winning the UCL (the treble, indeed) and the EPL beating records left
and right gives you.

the second goalkeeper is the second best defender for the RSS collective
