The 'Bulgarian Wolf' has died from a heart attack, aged only 50.
Certainly one of the most colourful players I have seen play in Austria in the
90's, a nightmare for opponent attackers and his own managers alike, tactical
discipline never having been his strongest suit. Only played 53 league games
for Rapid Vienna, but is considered a legend there.
Career highlights: World Cup semifinals 1994, CWC final with Rapid 1996, and,
by his own admission, when Cantona personally requested his jersey after Rapid
played Man United in the 1996/97 Champions League.
