Italy about to loose it's title

Hi

Who will eliminate Italy ?
I would love for France to do it, but England, Australia or Germany
would be nice too.
I will take anybody for that matter.

Italy kiss the cup good-bye you have about 8 months and it will be in
other hands.

Australia won't be able to take them out. And Germany has a spell in
always running against a best performing Italy in WC. See 1970, 1982
and 2006 for that matter.

Regardless. We are the current champions. Not too many teams repeat a
WC win. Would be nice for them to do it but I am not holding my
breath. Anyways, after seeing how FIFA made sure France made it in at
all costs I would say France is going to win. FIFA has to show now
that France not only belonged at the WC but that they are the best
team there. What was once a prerty tournament has now becoome a fixed
event. Oh well..... it had a good run. Hopefully the Chanpions League
won't go down the same road.

Enzo, this sort of talk is why taking match fixing should be taken
seriously. If you are right, and not just being overly cynical about
match fixing being well known in some Spanish leagues, well European
Football is in bad shape.

There is nothing we can do when the governing body is doing the match
fixing. Look the the last world cup. Blatter was so upset Italy won it
all that he did not even bother to go down and hand the trophy over to
Italy. At that point he should have been renoved as head of FIFA.
Since he took over there have been many ganes that looked "fishy"
Mistakes by an official is one thing but blantant fixing is another.
The France - Ireland game was fixed. Whats funny about that one is
France would probably7 have won in the shootout. They are mor
experinced than Ireland in those situations. Teh World Cup has gone
down hill since Blater took over. He has allowed Nike and Addidas to
have to large of say. What was funny about the last WC was Italy wore
Puma jerseys. Not Nike or Addidas. Maybe thats why Blatter was mad and
did not present the trophy..
