Dan,
Piping a 670 isn't worth the hassle, or money. You will probably see
about a 5-8 hp gain, and repetitive temp. related jetting changes becomes
a constant nag. Detonation becomes a factor too, as pipes pushes the
redline up around 8300 rpm. Plan on a set of EGT's also, if you want to
get serious with pipes.

I also read in a magazine (Snotech??) that installing pipes on the 670
can actully make LESS hp. They give you a big list of stuff you have to
do to make twin pipes work, and it is costly..Then it says the
piston/cylynder tolerances are so close that adding twins might burn up
the motor.

One would assume that list is merely a past advertisers list....
There are lots of performance dealers who don't advertise with the mags.
