Hello knowledgeable people
We have just taken out of storage a mid to late 60s snowmobile
in nice condition. It is labeled a Black Hawk snowmobile
by Marshal Wells Hardware store. Anybody hear or know
any statistics or other information on this??? It has a horizontal
single cylinder JLO engine(runs excelent) , Dual headlights that
look like Tomato cans inserted into the fiberglass cowling. The unit looks
like the front of a 1957 international suberban, my opinion, others
say it looks like a 1952 chev car, any way , it looks odd.
We have a picture for posting if anyone is interested, E-mail me
and I will pass it along. hop...@uniserve.com
Not sure if I can post it on this news group, suggestions welcome.
Sincerely
John Martin

Fresh out of storage.
Notice the Marshall Wells Hardware store emblem Before the Blackhawk name on
the hood.

1967 unit build by Curtiss-Wright mfd of Ontario, Canada(in dispute)
Note: s.o.# is being sent to confirm place of manufacturing

Tag on the back with the serial no. on it states unit is build exclusively
for Marshall Wells stores.
Great looking- Great running and a shame to drive it because of its
excellent condition.
Sincerely
John Martin

I was also denied access. Is this a top-secret, stealth sled?

A great old classic that myself would ride at old sled shows. After the show
clean & store it properly and it will be fine. To me old sleds are like
pretty wives, if you don't ride'em what's the use of having them......
