I need help finding spark plugs for a 94 Polaris Indy 500 EFI. Does
anyone have an OEM part number or know which NGK plug I need to use?

Thanks!

You should be able to find it here as all application charts found here
are created using the complete and genuine NGK application charts up to
and including 1998-models (1999-models will soon be included):

http://home.sol.no/~stigbye/snowmobile/teknisk_informasjon/NGK/index.htm

However, and for Polaris, you should be aware of that you in several
cases need to know the exact engine code (EC.....) to find the correct
spark plug. This is due to the reason that several Polaris models are
listed by engine code only in the genuine application charts from NGK.

If you have the correct and exact engine code, but still don't find it
in the applications charts at the URL above, mail me the engine code and
I'll check with one another table I have. This table have all (at least
most of them) Polaris snowmobiles listed by engine code, even those that
are listed in the genuine NGK application charts using the ordinary
model name.

I'm not sure of a OEM part number. The Polaris Master Repair Manual sez
NKG BR8ES or Champion RN-3C for your 94' Indy 500 EFI. You might be able
to find these at your local auto parts store.

I own a '94 500 EFI, and both the sticker on the hood and the owner's manual
specify Champion RN2C. I have also used NGK BR8ES and BR9ES without problems.
However, if you go with the NGK's, make sure you get the "R" (resistor) plug,
and not the plain Jane B8ES. Resistor type plug is required for the EFI to
function properly.

NGK = BR8ES
Champion = RN3C

According to the Polaris Manual
