Thanks.

Chris,
I can't remember what mine was stock off hand. I think it was in the
area of 125.
I have a set of AAEN pipes, the Ultra CDI box, 42 mm flat slide carbs, and reeds
which put it at 161 hp.
If replace the stock pipes with after market ones you won't believe the weight
difference up front. You can shave about 45 pounds off the front.

I did some checking. As stated by Polaris the 1997 XCR 600se did 115-120 hp.
2002 XC 600 SP is 110-115 listed by A/S.
No it's not. The "97" XCR 600 is a Triple Triple with reed case.

I understand how you can be confused. Over a very short time 600's were
monoblock single pipe tripe, case reed triple-triple and a couple of twins
(big and small).
The 97 XCR SE was the triple-triple... and put out something around 120hp.
Actually about 3hp more than the ZRT 6 though drivability and tuning did
suffer accordingly.
Wrong on the first (it's the Ultra based triple-triple) and BTW no way did
the 97 XLT make 97hp.
