Head out to Ompah and then go west. The lads were there on Saturday and got
almost two hundred of the finest springtime miles they've ever had. Go to
the OFSC site and see if you can find out more.
Good luck.....

This is from a friend of mine. Hope it helps:
Left on Sunday, March 18th. We stayed at the Twin Rivers Motel, Mattawa.
The owner is the groomer operator for Mattawa and he mentioned that
Friday the 16th was the last day of grooming. Traffic was light over
the weekend so the trails were supposed to be in good shape. The TOPS
trail A along the bottom of Mattawa was now in full operation as a
logging road and as such should be used with caution. Talked to a few
guys and they mentioned it was down to mud for a few stretches of a mile
in length so we avoided it.
Monday:
Started out heading out towards Temiscaminque and found a huge hydro
line with some hills on it.. [personal details snipped] Make it into town,
(
Lake Nippising is friggin huge ) and get some eats and head North
towards Temiscaminque ( again, more hydro lines) and then take the local
trail down to Mattawa. 250 kms.
Verdict: If you like to go off trail this is the perfect place. Lots of
snow, lots of character to the landscape. Best of both worlds as there
are some places to play with good vertical climbs and wide, fast
flatland trails for one to crusise one.
Tuesday:
Since Tops A was in bad shape we load up the trailer and head to Deux
Rivers ( 45 mins closer to home). Unload and drive back to Mattawa and
around the area. Nice trail, great crusise and more hydro lines to play
on. Drive up around mattawa,
take some pics of the Timber Train and head back for some lunch and the
3 hr drive home. 170 kms.
Verdict: Great place to pass through, but there is only 1 trail between
Deux Rivers and Mattaw so if it's trashed you're looking at 50 kms of
butt numbing riding.
