Anyone remember Raydines in Corte Madera, CA?

I skating for 3 years here from 1969 to 1971 as a child. Does anyone know
this rink ....long gone?

Yes, yes, yes!!! I remember Raydines! My mom used to drop my
sister and I off, and we would skate while she shopped at nearby
Corte Madera center!

I never actually took lessons there (I just started lessons last fall,
at the age of 26), but I remember lots of chilly days spent skating
around. I remember liking the hot cocoa too:-)

I grew up in Stockton and went to college in Davis. After 9 years in
Colorado I now live in Texas, but I still miss Northern California. I
know the rink in Concord has been torn down. Does anybody know what
happend to Sacramento Iceland on Del Paso Blvd? I skated there the last
time I was in California for a visit and it looked like it was on it's
last legs then. Is there a new rink in Sacramento yet?

Yes, it burned and it held a fund raiser and was rebuilt a couple of years ago, I haven't kept up with the finished product, but it was a struggle! A landmark for sure!
