Another Snotty Comment in USA Today

USA Today's TV critic, Robert Bianco, really has a problem with skating.
Last time he said there was too much skating on TV, that coverage should
be limited to Nationals, Worlds and Olympics. Here is an excerpt from
his 2/10/99 column, Critic's Corner:

"One of PBS's most-watched programs returns for the 18th year of
Championship Ballroom Dancing (tonight 8:30 ET). If you've never seen
ballroom dancing at the competitive level (as opposed to the
less-stylized dancing done for fun by amateurs), it's kind of like ice
dancing, except the dancers are older and the dances are even more
peculiar."

I never miss Championship Ballroom Dancing; it's worth watching for the
costumes and hairstyles alone. The costumes make anything worn on the
ice look conservative and no one's hair ever moves. The dancing is
always excellent. I highly recommend the show.
