I finally caught the video last week, I was channel surfing and
thought I came across some late night skating show (yarite). Anyway,
it's quite a hoot, catch it if you can. Figure skating just doesn't
seem like a "cool" MTV type of thing, I wonder what was the impetus
behind this, and just who skated as Williams' double.

The skaters in the video are British ice dancers Jonathon O'Dougherty and Pam
O'Connor, who came fourth at Britsih Nationals this year with a program
choreographed by Jayne Torvill. There's an article about them working with
Jayne and Robbie at www.sportlive.net (search for Torvill).
Actually the female skater is Holly Hambrook, a junior ice dancer. The
skating which Robbie Williams is seen doing was for the most part Clive
Shorten, although Robbie did take skating lessons for the part.

I have only seen the last 1 or 2 minutes of the video, but I think I saw
both dance and pair movements in the performance. There was this
Bourne/Kraatz-type sliding, and wasn't it a triple axel that "Robbie" did
at the end? If there was only one guy doing the stunts for Robbie, he's
quite a skater.
BTW, there are also other figure skating videos, most notably the Enigma
video from 1996 (Beyond The Invisible) that featured Rahkamo & Kokko.
