South Africa 2-1 ON
England 13-8
Draw 14-1
Odds look a fair enough reflection of the sides, if I was the betting kind
my tenner would probably be on the draw - not very good odds on either side
for a wager.
Well, I wish I'd had some money on that! Who would have believed English
would drub the Boks 35-15! Well done you Poms! (I'm allowed to call you
that because I'm one too.)
I hear from a friend with Sky that the first half was reminiscent of
aerial ping-pong. Apparently SA kept giving away silly penalties,
and Rob Andrew had a red-letter day with the boot, grabbing 27 points,
one penalty short of being a World Record!
I look forward to reading some detailed match reports from English
and South African standpoints alike.
Cheers.
Paul.

I most certainly would have believed it. I've got a fair amount of money
on England winning *both* tests at 3:1.
