After reading some of the responses to my original thread, I have decided to
produce a WORST Wallaby team from the last 15 years... (10 years I was left
scratching my head a bit...)

WALLABIES

Fullback: Matt Pini
Right Wing: Alistair Murdoch
Outside Centre: Michael O'Connor
Inside Centre: Richard Tombs
Left Wing: Darren Junee
5/8: Paul Kahl
1/2: Sam Cordingley

No. 8: Brian Melkie
Openside B/Way: Brendan Nasser
Blindside B/Way: Ilie Tabua
Lock: John Langford
Lock: Theo Charcoal
Tighthead P: Matt Ryan
Hooker: Marco Caputo
LooseHead P: Themilis Katsos


What a bunch of 'B'-grade players these guys were, eh?! Now the Michael
O'Connor I refer to above played a test against the Irish in 1994, and is
NOT the league convert OK? So no flames there.

Tabua was actually quite good.

I would also like to add, some of the worst halfback performances I have
ever seen for Australia came from George Gregan.

Especially in the 1995 RWC. Its amazing how much he has improved since then,
it must be the shaved head.

What about Warwick Waugh at B/side? He played one test there where he
failed miserably.

C'mon. Sam Payne against the All Blacks was the shittest half-back we have
ever seen..... picking up from the back of the scrum... running straight
into ZinZan turning it over. How many times did we see that!!!!

I believe his name was actually Matthew O'Connor... Michael was the league
convert.

All uncapped so I don't know how you can include them. Some contenders might
be Michael Brial, Damien Frawley, Peter Kay, Cameron Blades, or Andrew
Heath.

Also, I'm sceptical how you can select Ilie Tabua there, who was a very good
player. How about Troy Jaques or Scott Gourley?

Pini, Murdoch, Tombs, Cordingley, and Langford are all decent players.
Caputo isn't that bad either.
