Thanks for posting that link- Setanta as usual have been pricks.
Unbiased view as a Kiwi : )
Both packs equal. Liked the England #8, showed up Read big time.
Thought you could have done with Courtney coming on after 40 minutes.
New Zealand backs better organized and more incisive on the counter
attack. The dual between Carter and Wilkinson didn't happen, both had
shockers.
Ref was rubbish- but kept the game going by not yellow carding (I hate
players being carded).

Moody man of the match, outstanding. Banahan shown up for hopefully
the last time in an England jersey at 11. What are you seeing, John
Hill, that the rest of the world doesn't?
England punched above their weight for the first time in a while but
still not good enough. They had the crowd and passion, but little
else. NZ were decidedly average for them.
Summary: England played out of their skins for them and lost. New
Zealand played a very average game for them and won.
Says it all, really.

Moody was good at what he does but not enough on the ground work like
McCaw - I thought Haskell was the outstanding player for England. And Erinle
was a waste of space - if they had Gerachty there from the start the
enterprise that England looked to be keen on displaying could have made it
past Wilkinson. Cueto had a very good game at the back as well I thought.

I thought Carter had a pretty good 2nd half, especially his defensive
game. Both he and Wilkinson are great on defence but I think Carter's
technique is just that little bit better and stops him getting broken in
the way that Wilco has. Was never going to be easy on attack, they are
both excellent defensive sides and the conditions weren't flash
It seems to me that Mils has just lost a yard of pace this year. His
returns aren't as sharp and he usually kicks rather than trying to reset
the attack, and a few years back I reckon he'd have been over the try
line before Monye could drag him out. Such is life though.
Can't understand why Croft wasn't playing from the start, he's looked
good every game I've seen him play for England and the Lions. Also
thought Gerachty looked good when he came on. The bloke he replaced had
done nothing.

First Banahan, like most of the England backs is performing a lot less
well here than with their clubs.
Second the England selectors, obviously see something in Banahan -
although I would rather have seen Sackey in the 14 jersey rather than
Banahan on the right wing where he has never played before.
By Klitty's criteria Banahan is an outstanding wing - since he scored
a try last week.
England did not punch above their weight, for most of the players they
simply played the game they do with their clubs, many very much less
well than they do with their clubs.

Scoring a try with a great run, great evasiveness etc etc contributes
when you do it time and time again. Your dislike for Williams is
legendary. Let it go. He is far and away a quicker pick that Monye or
your other little golden boy Sackey (who is no where international level

My is the elevation to godlike status by Williams fan boysand is based
on performance, nothing as personal as dislike.
In fact he seems like a nice enough chap and is good when on form.

Why would I not do that, they are pretty glaring to anyone with an
understanding of the game and the history of the people involved, and
based on performance.

Certainly agree with second, haven't looked back at first point yet....
Kaplan is always terrible, and never favours England for the majority of
the game. Often he is downright biased against us, one particular
Ireland game has earned him the name O'Kaplan from me, I'm sure he's
gutted.....
