"I hear a lot of people complain about how boring the Boks are. Not for me.
Being ruthless and brutal is part of test rugby and, to win World Cups, you
have to be more ruthless and brutal than every opponent you face. This tour
has to begin to get the All Blacks more into position to do that."

You can't disagree with that!

Like many of us Richard comes from the old school. Unfortunately the
handbaggers will have a fanny wobble if we bring back "hard play".

Hand baggers? Is this the current ABs who hit each other with them.

BTW Loe was a thug even in the days of "hard Rugby".

I reckon he was a great player, did a couple of things wrong but had
mongrel. That's what is wrong with union today NO MONGREL.
Look at the Wallabies, you even had a fucking gay coach for fucks sake.
Richard Loe, the next All Black coach, SHIT YEA!!!!

Apart from the one incident that sticks a bit in my mind I saw Loe as
a hard motherf....
Quality prop and I would him on my side

Of course you'd have him in your side, Dave. He's a convicted eye
gouger and you're a South African.

Well i did say "Apart from the one incident..."
You chose to ignore that and generalise again.

When you said "one incident" I immediately thought of Loe breaking Carozza's
nose with the cheapest of cheap shots. Lost all respect for the guy there
and then.

Not sure which eye-gouging you're talking about cos he did that so many
times.

No Dave - there wasn't just an isolated incident with Loe - ask Paul Carozza
for starters. He was a serial thug who I would have preferred never played
for the AB's again after he gouged a fellow AB - unbelievable.

Well remember my context is different to yours.

Most of Loes career was in SAs isolation years so I didn't see the
thuggery
The eye gouging incident was sports headline news

As for Loes behaviour in SA games (he played us about 5X) he was fine
