Herewith a popular rugby song from South Africa. The song was adapted by
an Afrikaans artist by the name of Leon Schuster. Leon is well known in
SA as he is one of the most popular "rip-off artists" of other songs in
our country. I do not have his permission to publish the word to this
song here, but I am sure that he won't mind. Leon is also a rugby
fanatic and therefore, most of his "revamped" works are about rugby.
This song was written after a well known controvecy and before the World
Cup and became very popular here during the World Cup. It's sung to the
tune of Acky Breaky Heart - Billy Ray Cyrus.

_________________________________________________________________________
I'm a big All Black
I'll never hit you back
If that camera is on me.
But underneath the ruck,
I'll score a little luck
I'll break your face
and you won't know it's me.

I will use my arms, my elbows and my knees.
I'll kick you, hit you, punch you, do you hear?
I'll tear away your lips and break your fingertips,
BUT.....I will never bite your bleedin' ear!

Chorus:
------

Now, don't you bite my ear
My achy breaky ear
and leave me bleeding on the gound.
The ref didn't see, but only on TV.
I lay there sulking like a hound.

You can bring your pa,
I'll fight him in the bar.
You can bring your dog,
I do not fear.
But, I don't want Le Roux
at the end of my damn shoe,
pulling me down and bite my bleedin' ear.

Repeat chorus:

Ag, I won't bite your ear,
your achy breaky ear.
It meant the end of my career.
I'll paint the thing all black
and hang it around my neck
and use it for a bladdy souvinir.

Repeat chorus:

Please mate, don't bite my ear?

Ag, sorry ou swaer.
_________________________________________________________________________

Hope everybody out there enjoys the word. Please, pretty please, this is
not meant to start THAT argument again.

Cheers
Andre

While we are on the subject of SAan songs, does anybody know the words to
the song (if U could call it that) the Boks sang in the changing room
after the RWC final? It was in Afrikaans.

Cheers (and a lot of beers after the ABs walloping of Oz)
