It's a long history and there are plenty to choose from.
Once again, I'm sorry to say, the aussies have probably beaten us
handsdown in this category over the years. Unless that is Long has
also admitted rape, beating up women, glassing people in pubs etc.

Its one thing to shit on your team mates and your sport and your country, To
comit criminal acts whilst also putting your own pocket before the good of
your team-mates or your club. To let evryone down just because you cant be
arsed or because you stand to gain a few quid. To shirk your
responsibilities and jeopardise your sport and your image as a role-model

is a self confessed idiot and d**khead. His revelations in the Sun are
both shocking and at the same time compulsive reading. My copy of the
book should arrive tomorrow and after watching him play regularly for
the last 10 years I am eager to read more. While certainly his morals
are not good, there is no question about the fact that he has been one
of the great players of Super League. Im surprised with his
confessions to heavy boozing and womanising that he could continue to
play to such a high standard. I wonder how much better he could have
been, or if in fact it was all part of his makeup and none of it made
any difference to his actual performances on the field. Some of the
incidents he recalls are downright hilarious, and after reading them
you think 'Longy what an idiot!' I suspect that the real damage that
Long makes in his book is to lift he lid on the world or rugby league
players: the heavy drinking, the womanising, the bungs, the betting,
the scandal, the street fights, the money and I wonder if he talks
about drugs? While obviously being outspoken you are not telling me
that he is the only rugby league player tarnished by any or all of
these vices!

Sean Long's biggest fault is that he is not the sharpest tool in the toolbox
and is probably not the full shilling.
Because he plays for Saints, Wiganers regard him as the Anti-Christ and the
Devil Incarnate and see him as a cross between Adolf Hitler, Ghengis Khan
and Vlad the Impaler.
If he played for Wigan then he would be the best thing since sliced bread
and a cross between Mother Teresa, the Archangel Gabriel and Saint Peter.
All would be sweetness & light with the aforementioned light shining forth
from Longy's fundiment.

Certainly not, but he is the only one (to my knowledge) to then go on and
openly brag about them to make money for himself.
As for implicating the rest of RL and other players, he should name names or
shut the F*** up!
