Oxford and Isis have a fixture against two Leander eights on Saturday
20 March
Cambridge will race a Czech eight on 24 March

So....Oxford beat Leander (just)
Cambridge got beaten (heavily) by Molesey but beat the Czech's (a crew
made up of the silver medal coxless 4 from the Europeans, some recent
Junior internationals, Synek and Dolecek)
I don't think it's any surprise that the bookies are making the Dark
Blues overwhelming favourites.
I still predict the BR will be close to Chiswick Steps but then Oxford
will pull away and win by 2-3 lengths. As for the Head....Leander v
Molesey is a mouthwatering prospect. I feel a bit sorry for TSS going
off Head with these 2 hammering up behind them!
Would Leander II be tempted to try and hold up Molesey and therefore
help their own heavyweights? ;)
Oh come now! Not that I've any allegiance to that club, at least while
they flaunt the necktie of the Cheltenham College XXII, but
a] I'm sure they are much too good sports; and
b] they've probably read English/Welsh/"British" Rules of Racing
2-7-4, 2-7-5 [hope I have the numbers right]

I'm being devil's advocate, and in no way am I suggesting they will
break any rules, but it would be tempting for them to take it to the
edge before yeilding (if Molesey get close enough to overtake) a
couple of seconds delay may be all that is needed to allow the
Heavyweights victory.
