Does anyone know of any clubs within an hour drive of Thousand Oaks, CA? I
understand there is a 1500m lake in Westlake Village. Is there a way to row
there without having to belong to the housing association?

Any info would be greatly appreciated! I'm desperate to row my single.

Going north from Ventura the only rowing Club is UCSB. Their boathouse is at
Lake Cachuma, where I row. I think it would take a a minimum of one hour to get
there. Come on up, I'm really bored and tired of sculling alone.

South to Marina Del Rey, where you will find a number of clubs: California
Yacht Club, UCLA Masters, Los Angeles Rowing Club.

I have heard about the lake at Westlake village, but know nothing more than
you. Amy Fuller (US Womens National Team) Parents live there. You can try to
contact them, or her at Stanford University Rowing program.
