I just bought a very used Amerec 610 to help with strength training
(I'm not a rower.)

There's no documentation with it, so I was hoping someone here might
have used one many years ago, and could tell me how to adjust the
resistance.

Thanks!

You move the attachment point of the hydraulic cyclinders up (toward
handle) to increase the resistance or down to reduce it. i.e. the
cylinder provides a constant resistance, the only change that can be
made is your mechanical advantage over it.

CAUTION: Those cylinder housings can get very hot while rowing. Do
not touch them during or after use.

I also have this very old machine. The seat will not move forward. It is almost off the back end. Help!
