anybody heard of a guy called Roy Finlay who plans to row the atlantic

I know this sounds a bit funny - but I'm trying to locate this gentleman, he
was a good friend of mine - he went to the states to organise a rowing trip
across the Atlantic - I think he was going to call the boat Celtic
Crossing???

anyhow if anybody knows him please write to me!!

There was an attempt in November 1998. They had problems & didn't get very
far. Some details at

there were a number of reports at the time.
